What's the difference between Obama spreading the wealth, and the present wealth spreading?

Bail out plans. Everyone spreading the wealth to the needy million and billionaires. Is Obama's plan the Payback Bush promised the tax payers for agreeing to the bailout? What's the difference between Obama spreading the wealth, and the present wealth spreading? He's part of this bailout anyway.

Remember, he was in on the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac scandal from day one along with numerous other democrats.

But to answer your question, liberals believe that everyone should be brought down to the level of the poor, so it's important to punish the achievers to make the poor feel better. It doesn't help the poor any, and in fact tends to hurt them ultimately, but it supposedly makes them feel that Obama is getting back at the rich folks. The German word for it is "shadenfreude."

Conservatives have a different philosophy. They want to elevate the poor and give them more freedom to make more money so they will rise up to the level of the achievers in society.

And unfortunately, Bush wasn't a conservative. If we can ever get back to a conservative way of running this country we'll all prosper. It may not be possible, but it's worth a try for the sake of our children.

The deficit has doubled in the last week while the democrats pay off all their rich constituents for getting them the election. It's sad. What's the difference between Obama spreading the wealth, and the present wealth spreading?
Obama will be spreading the wealth to the middle class, while Bush's spreading the wealth keeps the richest corporations and people as rich as possible. Yeah, that's something I support. Paris Hilton keeping that extra $20 in her paycheck. What's the difference between Obama spreading the wealth, and the present wealth spreading?I hate to tell you guys but I'm sure the bailouts will keep coming even after Obama is in office. Heck just last week he was trying to convince Bush to work with the auto companies and Obama has admitted his plans for the country will cost alot more than he said they would. by the way, Bush gave everyone a tax cut not just the rich. His problem was his spending which is not what a traditional fiscal conservative would do. As for Obama putting more money into your pocket I'm not sure how he is going to manage that with the plans he is laying out. Basically were just printing up more and more money which will result in a weaker dollar. What's the difference between Obama spreading the wealth, and the present wealth spreading?
Contrary to that what many think, the "rich" are on a 40% tax bracket now as we speak. That means they pay 40% tax on their earnings. I certainly am not rich but I just want people to know the truth. What Obamas plan will do is raise their tax bracket up even higher, close to 50% I have heard. So Basically, if you're employed by a small business there's a good chance your future will change very soon. What's the difference between Obama spreading the wealth, and the present wealth spreading?Obama is NOT for the poor. He just said that he won't raise taxes on the rich because the economy is bad. He said he will "delay" raising taxes on the rich, which is BS because it will never happen. He blames the "delay" on the fact that the economy was bad, but of course he knew the economy was bad during the election because that is all he talked about. Besides, the rich can afford the taxes even during a recession. Just another Obama excuse. Just wait until he gets into office. The only change that you'll see is pocket change.

Doubts exist there'll be any successful form of "share the wealth" program put out anytime soon. Reason being: Obama voters expect the program to come about WITHOUT any consumer price hikes imposed on them, the middle class and poor.

This is something you can bet Corporate America and it's wealthy alumni will unite together and fight. Members on that list include cozy Obama campaign contributors like Oprah, by the way, who'll be quick to draw lines on how much $$$$ is generously given. It's the arguement of the wealthy in America that, despite HOW they got rich--it's their $$$ NOT to be taken by force and spread to the middle class / poor.

And if they have to cause further U.S. economic damage to keep their $$$$ from reaching the common man's hands---then so be it.

Positively effective Presidents are those who make friends with not only world leaders, but they get cozy well with America's wealthy; the movers and shakers---which America's middle class and poor do NOT qualify, until Election time.

Bottom line: nearly all of Obama's campaign ideas, Utopic as they sounded, will likely fail or never get out the Oval Office---because Congress simply won't have the $$$$ needed.
