I am an American living in Europe and have nothing bad to say about the health care here, and there is still a far jump from this universal health care and the reform bills we just passed. The quality is just as acceptable here as it is in any super magical American health clinic, and if my tax dollars have to go to someone who needs them more than I do, where is the problem in that? My taxes already go to a number of things I don't directly and immediately benefit from, but you can be damn sure I don't want the government to stop building roads or funding public schools for it.How many of you think President Obama did a good job with signing the Health care Bill?

It is going to degrade the quality of health care while raising the price. It does nothing towards controlling prices or increasing competition. It only serves to force all citizens to become a captive source of income to the insurance companies while taking control of many other facets of the economy.

Oh yes, he was flipping those pens around like an expert. However, the health care bill itself is a travesty of Socialist proportions.
I think anybody who adds the word socialist to their answers doesn鈥檛 know what they are talking about.



It鈥檚 a flawed bill but waiting on the right to concede something would have meant ending up with nothing.



This bill is right of Nixon the rights hero and in fact a man Dick Cheney agreed with in issues of privacy and executive branch control.



The Obama administration agrees with Nixon on the idea of health care.



A good point you have right to buy guns but health care isn鈥檛 a right in this country. We spend more on health care but we are rated 37th overall in deliverance of that care.



Don鈥檛 let anything blur you perceptions on this issue but realize right now the price or our health care is driven up by uninsured illegal aliens. We pay more so hospitals can recoup lost cost on what they call charity and that charity is passed on to paying customers who then pass that cost on to those who buy insurance.



You don鈥檛 want government in health then let the price of health care continue being driven up by the uninsured in this country legal or otherwise.



You recall those cheap oranges or cheap house repair guess what you are not paying for that with your health insurance policy.



It's a good thing but America is a bunch of rubes who buy into talking points rather then reality we love the idea of small government as long as it's offense is in doing nothing.
