As a conservative, I don't call him a socialist. He is a self centered ego maniac that has not accomplished anything in his political life except community organizing in Chicago(mafia?). It's only a matter of time before the skeletons in his closet come out. He has already proven that he has no interest in change, other than changing the distribution of wealth so that the no-value added members of society (Libs and dems). It has been proven that the Republicans create the wealth, jobs and contribute to charity more than the spenders.
To be in his cabinet you have to be a tax cheat or a borderline moron. His crack about the special olympics was really directed at his cabinet selections, except that it really does insult the truly handicapped. Fortunately in 2 years congress gets turned back over to the right and in 4 obama will move out and we can reclaim the presidency.
