Another naive liberal who knows little about business. Contractors have their credit lines decreased in response to this bill that "protects" the most irresponsible in society. Small businesses will pay these new fees. Unbelievable how you kids have no idea what goes on in the world.

It already made my rates go up. The government should leave banks alone. There is a law passed a few years ago that forced banks to either give loans to those who couldn't afford it or give monetary or equipment donations to Acorn. If the banks didn't comply, they were threatened. This was done by Franks, Pelosi, and others. ENOUGH GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE!!!

Obama's? I thought the Congress passed it. Thankfully it forces transparency, but those of us who actually took the time to READ the fine print and do a little research into the deceptive credit practices, already KNEW what was happening. It is SAD that common sense need be legislated. But that is the ignorant state of affairs we live with.

I have an online acquaintance whose boss is a liberal and a business owner. He uses his credit cards ALOT for business purposes. consequently, this resulted in alot of racked up points which were used for alot of free airline tickets. After Obamas credit card reform, the credit card company stopped sending the boss those free airline tickets. The boss was aksed if he knew that this would be the result of the credit card reform. He said, yes he did. But he didnt know that it would affect him!
