How well do you think President Obama has handled the economy?

So I know he has spent more than Bush did in 8 years. But what other option do we have? I mean, isn't the economy going to go under and we go into a depression if the government doesn't bail us out??

He has an economic team to consult with. In 100 days in office he has done a tremendous job to stabilize the economy. He had the option to act responsibly and not use a crisis as an opportunity to fulfill this insane Dem agenda.



There will not be a depression. Government was and is at the root of the problem. The bills being created through the actions taken currently will lead to fiscal calamity for this country.



You need to pay attention to history, educate yourself about "real world" economics and stop getting caught up in the political hype/propaganda.



Knowledge is power and it is fascinating to me that the younger generation who grew up in the Information Age knows so little about anything. Less than 90 days later, they report glowing progress, why, they might even not need the money. Huh? Ask any business person, you don't recover that fast with no visible change in sales. How'd that happen?

He needs to stop spending money after money and let those who are experts in their field, tighten the budget and live within it.

The American people are still reeling, 700 Billion dollars + and no reading of the contract? no strings attached?
He's done just about as good as Bush did and as good as McCain would have. That means he has done horribly. I give him a D+ overall. The only reason he doesn't get a F is because he actually admits that there is a problem, even if he is going about fixing it the wrong way.



Throwing money at the problem might (it might but that doesn't mean it will) "solve" our current issue. However, we will eventually need to pay back on the deficit. Obama has handled the economy as he intended when elected. The United States has to be destroyed before the New World can assume power over the world and that is and always has been the plan Obama will effect.

heres one stop the goverment from spending all of this money by stoping this outragous plan .you say that its ok to spend our way out of debt huh? how about you doing that at your bank and see what kind of reaction you get .!!!

what they could of done is let everyone go bankruptsy and restructure the way they spend money.they hold the trillions of dollars and spend it wisely and we get tax free paychecks cause it is up to the tax payer to get us out of this situation,not by tax hikes but tax cuts or a reasonable flat tax for a year or two or till everyone who works can pay off their debt .

i ask you did the car companies put everyone back to work yet cause of the bailout by the goverment ?um no .!!! but what happened they ended up doing what? going thru the bankruptsy anyway right ? and all that money just disappeared didnt it? i cant see on how people think that the goverment can do anything right at this time but spend your hard earned money they just sit and pass bad laws and give them self pay raises and wear suits everyday .....and you believe that they will get us out of this situation? do you think that they care about you, or thinking about you ?i ask you this ,who is going to pay for the tax if no ones is working ? you say the rich that sooo many people hate right now , but answer this what will happen if they stop paying their taxes what then? it was the congress that started this destruction in the first place but you have been lied to about whos really at fault.hes been in office in less than 5 months and i dont see no hope and very bad change and a lot of obama surporters is starting to wake up and find this man a total nightmare ,a better congress in 2010.get rid of the despots
