obama seems like he is all smoke and mirrors..like deval patrick...saying one thing but the second hes in...changes everything he's said. the fact he is a strong supporter of a church that hates white people, well its worrisome. most of the time if you disagree with what is said in a church, you find one that you agree with. which leads me to believe that obama has similar ideas that his paster does and that is not someone i want to be able to run our country
it was confusing for you apparently; what he said was crystal clear: he disagrees with his pastor's comments but he understands why he was angry.
The confusion comes because he said one thing today (I heard this stuff) and another a couple days ago. That is, he lied. We knew that and now he confirmed it.

I found it disturbing that he lied. 2 days ago he denounce wright and said he never heard any antiamerican, racist sermons from him in 20 years. Today, he admits he did. There will be no fixing the lies he has told.
Obama is telling us to get past it all the the while his church perpetuates it. He justifies what his pastor has said and says the anger is real, which I don't doubt for one second, but the double standards continue to be at play. Obama is telling us to get past the racial divide in the same breathe he says it ok for the black community to listen to sermons filled with hate and anger on Sundays. If we're going to get past this then the angry Sunday sermons also need to stop.
I wasn't confused. He had previously said he had not heard anything racist coming from Wright........today he said he knew Wright to make those kind of statement before.

The man (jerimiah wright) was speaking as a black man in america that has faced racism and grew up during extremely segregated times. the past refects the future and regardless of what you may want to think it is still effident today.
I think if he has any chance at all after this then wrights followers should shut him down. Preaching about rich white people is not preaching the word of god .
