Living in Asia, we don't seem to get it when it comes to Obama (or at least I don't). I certainly must have missed something. What exactly does he stand for? Yes, he talks of change but what kind of change? And how does he plan to do it? So far I'm getting a much clearer picture of what Hilary plans to do (she keeps talking about it whenever I catch her on TV) but Obama is still an enigma.What exactly does Obama stand for and what will he do for America?Jimmy Carter, the sequel.

Asia, Obama is so busy fighting off attacks that it is difficult to get his message out. However he has stated that how he plans to do it is by appointing fair judges and such and by not dealing with lobbyists and corporations who pay for legislation that will help them but f-ck the average American. If you really want to know what he's about it's all on the web (and I don't mean the smear sh-t). Obama is not a socialist, he is a very liberal democrat that believes in equality by taxing the rich, not the middle-class. Most people fail to pay attention to these issues because they can't stop calling him either a racist or a muslim, but of which are not true. Even if he were a muslim, I wouldn't care, but since a majority of the American people are ignorant and just want to discriminate based upon supposid affiliation with 'radicals', you can't help but to pay attention to the concern.

Not only that but he has the ability to compromise and get things done because he has chosen to fund his campaign trough private citizens rather than taking large amounts of money from special interests and other large donners that would be expecting some sort of 'kick back' for their enormous lump sum donations.



If you've honestly been listening to what he's been saying this is the "change" he is talking about. He explains it so often. How is he going to do it? he has already started. By funding his campaign from small private donations from grass roots supporters, and new members of the democratic party.



He will be listening to the needs of YOU the people, instead of only those who have a large enough sum of money to contribute. He has been very vague as to what changes he wants, either b/c he doesn't know how to do what he wants or b/c he knows they are so radical that he wouldn't stand a chance of being elected.
