Why did Obama have to resort to gicing away tickets to concerts to get people to show up?

Most of th so called Obama rallies, were in fact concerts which his campaign gave away free tickets.

When you have to give people tickets to go see someone else, it doesn't reflect very well on Obama's so called popularity. Why did Obama have to resort to gicing away tickets to concerts to get people to show up?No, the rallies were rallies, at which Obama spoke, and the concerts were concerts, at which Obama did not speak. True, the concerts were intended to promote Obama's campaign, and the performers endorsed Obama, but do not confuse the huge political rallies with the concert venues. Obama drew huge crowds to purely political rallies. Why did Obama have to resort to gicing away tickets to concerts to get people to show up?
Could you please provide a link that will support your information? Why did Obama have to resort to gicing away tickets to concerts to get people to show up?I didn't know if it was true so I checked it out and your right. He will do anything to become president it seems. Why did Obama have to resort to gicing away tickets to concerts to get people to show up?
It may be true that people don't want to go to an election rally, but you will find this is commonplace because it's got nothing to do with the people who turn up.

The people who are there have got a free concert ticket so they will be happy with that anyway, but the reason is purely for the cameras. Turning up to an empty stadium to give a speech wouldn't look good on TV, whereas a crowd of cheeering "fans" looks great. Why did Obama have to resort to gicing away tickets to concerts to get people to show up?Did this really happen.I didn't hear they had to do that. Why did Obama have to resort to gicing away tickets to concerts to get people to show up?
giving is spelled GIVING.
