What is obama going to do about our national debt?

This isnt a put down toward obama i want a real answer please.

Its already at $10 trillion and counting, so does obama have any plans to fix this? What is obama going to do about our national debt? All through his campaign he promised a whole lot of loot to a whole bunch of people.

If he keeps his campaign promises, the national debt will balloon out of sight.

If he breaks his campaign promises, he won't get elected to a second term.

He has the unfortunate privilege of presiding over an economy that's just been bent over and fudge-packed hard. He'll have some really tough decisions to make.

I (personally) am hoping beyond hope that he'll stand down all national emergencies, dissolve the United States Corporation, and restore the government that Lincoln transformed into a dictatorship by the issuance of the first executive order.

At that point the government will be forced to shut down all unconstitutional activities (including the federal reserve board) and restore a gold and silver backed currency.

Nice dream, eh?What is obama going to do about our national debt?
TRIPLE IT!What is obama going to do about our national debt?Question is -- will you be feeding in ideas? Everyone is in it this time, except the cowards and traitors, of course.
he will spend like a whore on crack......What is obama going to do about our national debt?Actually his advisers said on July 8th, 2008 that if he was elected he would have to significantly revise his proposals because it would be impossible to do what he wanted to do. That was two months before the meltdown.

So I am guessing he isn't going to reduce it. More likely, though, he intends to increase it to 13 trillion. What is obama going to do about our national debt?
Triple it.

"The national debt can not be our main focus at this point''

Seriously Barack? You're a tax and spend liberal - don't worry, the Republicans will save our country.

Put Newt Gingrich back in the House and have him as Speaker of the House - after all - it is Newt Gingrich who successfully worked the budget during the Clinton Administration and caused a surplus instead of a deficit. What is obama going to do about our national debt?
Increase it.

He's already said controlling the debt is going to take a back seat to attempts to help the economy (not that the government is really going to be able to do anything except flush money down the toilet).
He plans to add to government spending and no one could get much of an answer out of him about how increasing spending would lower the national debt.
From what I've seen of his plans thus far, he's planning on making it MUCH bigger. Enjoy things as they are now, because they're about to get a whole lot more expensive.
increase the national debt.
The last I heard he intended to increase it by about $4 trillion over the next four years.
He will increase it beyond anything that can be imagined our grand children will hate what he did to them and they haven't been born yet.Bush will be considered a penny pincher compared to comrade Obama.
ADD TO IT!

Someone has to pay for all his high flying ideas.. and guess whom that will be... you and me!
Obama will work to reduce our debt but with the economic meltdown, high unemployment and infrastructure needs, that will be hard.

I can't get over all the sour grapes and sudden fiscal conservation in answer to this question. Where did all the money that Bush took go? Right! Tax cuts for the wealthy and the money pits in Iraq and Afghanistan. Well, if Obama revokes the tax cuts and stops the wars, we should get some savings there. The Bush junta said those wars were going to pay for themselves. How about getting Iraq to pony up some money? Or the oil companies who got the sweetheart contracts? Also, he should investigate where all the billions missing from the Pentagon and from the White House went. We could pay down some of the debt that way.
tripple it
Suck him thumb over it.
I would ignore it. In 7 years it drops off your credit report right?? lol.
He'll work towards reducing it, but the primary goal right now is to jump-start the economy. Then we can focus on the deficit.
