Do you feel Obama will be a good president? Anything you would like see him do as president? How do you feel about Obama becoming president?I'm terrified. I felt sick to my stomach. I don't know of one good thing about him. He wants to increase taxes (even on those of us who don't make much - $30,000/annually), he is pro-abortion (any stage for any age), he will give in to terrorists, He can't even put his hand over his heart when saying the pledge of allegiance. What has this country done???? They elected someone who doesn't even care about this country. He's going to run it into the ground. America won't be America anymore. How do you feel about Obama becoming president?
Why are you terrified? This is history! American people have finally chosen a man who is passionate, confident and accountable. Pres. Obama unites and excites us as one nation like no other president ever has. Change is not easy - I will give up a night out to taxes so I can see America take shape!

I'm going to be 100% honest.
Throughout the election process I congratulated myself on being level-headed.. on not falling victim to Obamamania and all the naive idealistic hippie wishes. Instead I supported Obama for only sensible reasons.
I never cry, and I'm never happy. I don't generally allow myself to feel emotion. I feel so very silly for saying this, but tonight I cried tears of happiness for the first time in my life. Not because I worship Obama or anything like that.. I guess it was just the historical significance.. to see how far we've come as a nation.
I hope he helps America become a beacon to the world again. How do you feel about Obama becoming president? No I dont think that he will be a good President people voted for him for all the wrong reasons lets make history and thinking this nation came far is a far fetched idea. The last thing this country needs was a Democratic President. I am looking at this from an un racist, no name view. Meaning Democrat Vs Rebulican. Everyone said because McCain was a Bush supporter that he would keep things exactly the same. I do not believe so, with knowing how much everyone hated Bush do people honestly think that he would make the same mistakes?? I feel we should have mainted a Rebulican in office because even thought McCain was a Bush supporter he did not back up his policies 100% so I do feel that he would have made neccessary changes were they should have been. Obama on the other hand is full of Pipe dreams and empty promises. regardless of his true campaign followers he got additional sympathy votes, and Bush hater votes. Which is why I feel that people voted for him for all the wrong reasons. McCain who didnt spend 150 Million dollars to put a half hour bullshit documentary about himself on television. He stayed in the background quietly and approached his campagin in a non chalant if you want to call attitude. I am niether a Obama Hater or believer because I think no matter what race or ethnicity or beilefs we all vote for another man to sit in office and try to make something out of nothing. People have spoke about you can now be proud to be an American again, I am proud to be American but at the same point we should be a shamed of ourselves. Recently visiting Europe you but a newspaper political and important events appear on front page news stories where as in American we get stories about sports and Madonna it is rediculous that proud to be an american can really be spoken of because we still have no respect from other European countries. How do you feel about Obama becoming president?
One of my greatest concerns is the lack of checks and balances that we will have in our government. Although these sometime slow down the political process...slow change isn't always bad.
In spite of all the talk of "change" the rhetoric, "misstatements", and political maneuvering (by BOTH sides) showed me that it was just business as usual in Washington.
Power currupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
I myself don't think he will be a good president for America. Not this year or the next. He has come too far into too short amount of time. Who is he? He isn't truly American that's for sure. He moves around too much and I doubt he can call anywhere home. People, check Notradomus. He specks about stuffs like this. This guy will "change " America. But exactly how?How do you feel about Obama becoming president?
Do you have something to say to The New President? This is a place for you to write what you would say to the new President "Barack Obama" if you had the opportunity.
