They said that George W Bush worked during the two of the 8 years he was on vacation. They said Obama did not. This is a microcosm of the American political debate, which of course has become little but a competition to see who can make the most intentionally disingenuous claim and make it stick against the other guys.

Bush mainly went to his ranch... Bush had a mini white house there... he could take care of business.... Obama does not, all he has is the White House... You never hear about him going back to their home in Chicago..... All I have seen is his lavishing spending staying in Fine hotels, whooping it up in foreign countries or playing golf...What evidence do conservatives have that Obama does not work while on vacation?None, since I guess they consider the daily briefing and handling affairs of state not working.

Then there's the disconnect between "the cost of his staff going on vacation with him is too high" and "there's no staff with him on vacation."
Fox News showed video of him playing golf, but they didn't show any video that made it appear that he was working.
