How is Obama going to manage in a debate versus McCain?

McCain schools him on foreign policy and knowledge of the war. And there isn't exactly an issue Obama knows more about than McCain to compensate.

And saying change through the debate isn't going to last up till November. Does Obama have an advantage in a debate, if any, against McCain? How is Obama going to manage in a debate versus McCain?Nope, he'll just agree with everything McCain says %26amp; add or change some little thing %26amp; call it his own idea, just like he did with Hillary's health plan. What G-man is saying is that Obama uses "double speak" a lot. I agree. If Obama actually "takes down the Clinton machine" as one poster put it, it's only because of naivitee of the young people who are guliible %26amp; mesmerized by him %26amp; the blacks who so eagerly want a black president. Obama=double talk=lies %26amp; BS.How is Obama going to manage in a debate versus McCain?
Simple McCain = Bush # 3How is Obama going to manage in a debate versus McCain?I won't be watching unless there is a third party candidate there as well. Hopefully Ron Paul.
Obama will pretty much leave him in the dustHow is Obama going to manage in a debate versus McCain?Obama has no chance against McCain, it's as simple as that. The Democrats didn't even put up a challenge this time. How is Obama going to manage in a debate versus McCain?
I bet he'll try to do what he's doing with the Hildebeast. Keep his cool and try to let his opponent boil over.
It will be really interesting to see, when the time comes!!How is Obama going to manage in a debate versus McCain?

Obama will do just fine.
obama will talk circles around McCain.
OBAMA IS VERY INTELLIGENT! AND READY FOR ANYTHING!

OBAMA 08'
Recall that few ever though Obama had the advantage in the earlier days of the race?
you see mccain's knowledge of the war as a positive, but i think the vast majority of the american people are so negative on the war that his unconditional support of the war will actually hurt mccain.

fact: the american people where lied too.

fact: there never where weapons of mass destruction in iraq

fact: the war never should have happened.

let's not forget, obama is the only candidate running who opposed the war from the beginning. do not underestimate senator obama. he has run a near flawless campaign. you can't say this about mccain, who is limping his way to the republican nomination, or hillary who has severely mismanaged her campaign.

mccain and hillary are similar to me because they strike me as people who are willing to say anything to be elected. it's funny how when mccain was being attacked by conservatives that suddenly he has become "captain conservative".

a vote for mccain will be a vote for the same old same. the same policies that have gotten us into a war that shouldn't have happened. the greatest service that the president can do for our troops is to be able to look them in the eye, and know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are sending them as a last resort, and that the american people need them.

i actually can't wait until they debate one another, because i think that obama will gobble mccain up.
He's in for a whole 'nother other with McCain.

McCain is an old pro. He's a much better orator than folks seem to be expecting. He can debate specifics without getting lost in the detail. He can present an agenda that folks can understand. He'll rely less on motivational happy talk and come across as competant and deserving of the presidency.

He's got the gravitas thing down pat and will appear completley ready to helm the "ship of state."

He's got a very sly sense of humor and has honed his tv style on the talk show circuit for years.Letterman loves the guy and Dave is no conservative. He'll use that humor to defuse the "age" issue just like Reagan did.

As usual Democrats are over confident.

They always are.And it always works to the other guys advantage.

They are nuts to underestimate McCain.
You are assuming that most Americans are willing to listen to an argument in support of staying in Iraq.

That would be an incorrect assumption.

Voters are voting 2-1 Democrat because of the war and the economy.

Obama has some strong opinions on foreign policy and frankly, they are changes that a lot of Americans want.

Yes, Mccain has more experience than anyone running. The problem with that is that he is such a career politician, that I question his ability to think outside the box. He is also running on many of Bush's policies (like the war and foreign relations).

In case you haven't noticed, people are not too happy with the way our foreign policy is going.

We LIKE diplomacy.

We are living in a time like no other. Sometimes it takes "new blood" to see things clearly.

I like McCain, but I don't know if he is the best person for us at this time, plus his pandering to the far right is kind of making me sick.
I think that McCain would win on the issues, but McCain is not very adept at making good speeches or getting out of tight spots, Obama is and that could help him in debates where he is outclassed on knowledge of the issues. Simply put, Obama is more clever and a out of the box thinker then McCain.
