How do you feel about Obama going overseas and calling us arrogant?

We have done so much good in the world and he didn't talk about that at all.

My father and others in my family fought overseas. I find Obama's remarks totally disgusting and appalling for a President to sell out his own people.|||It's a shame. There's Obama, tearing down America even when he isn't in the country. Screw him. Never building it up, never talking about the good things. All he does is build himself up.

Obama has his senior propogandist over there Al Capone (aka Rahm Emannuel) sitting reporters down and giving them the "inside scoop" on how Obama saved the day. France and China wouldn't agree, France had a list of request, China said no. Then, majestically......Obama rose to say "let us just take note of the list" and the Chinese guy said WOW.

It's absurd and it makes France and China look like idiots. This propoganda is way out of control. Building up Obama like he's the world peace maker, he's not and he didn't say anything that China and France already knew. I question the whole damn story myself.

Added: You liberals on here asking for a SOURCE. Damn, don't you people watch the freaking news? Oh, that's right, they probably didn't play it on CNN or MSLSD.

Here's Obama saying it. Right from his Marxist mouth:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnew…|||I think Pres Obama's comments about America and Europe were on point and very timely. There is room for improvement on both sides of the Atlantic. He pointed that out. That's the reality.|||Weel, he was partly right. HE is arrogant..|||The real bad thing here? People across the pond are BELIEVING what Obama is saying about us! He really should be ashamed of himself for saying the things he is spewing. He should be praising the U.S., not downgrading all of us. I am losing more and more respect for him everyday, not that I had a lot to begin with, but at least I was willing to TRY. No more. He is, without a doubt, the most arrogant public official EVER.|||If you don't hink the US has acted with arrogance you are pretty arrogant.|||The truth hurts, doesn't it?|||well if the boot fits.|||You can't be any more disgusted with that than what Michelle said. A person with such obvious hate for the country, the amendments, and the people of the country shouldn't be president. He isn't worthy of such a high position, and he knows it, that's why he bowed down to the Saudi king like a little B*tch.|||Boring, boring, boring.

"...sell out his own people..." What does that even mean?

"We have done so much good in the world." LOL...do you really believe that propaganda? Like what good did we do in the world that we didn't benefit from, you silly woman?

Anyway, I am kind of arrogant. I'm good looking and smart, too, so I didn't mind it.

Also, try leaving the country sometime. The rest of the world ALREADY feels that way about us. You really think they think we are as important as we like to believe? They haven't liked us for years...Obama was just stating fact. And, oh! How Americans hate to hear it.|||This coming from one who married the woman (?) (could be Michael Jackson...) who has always "hated America" but is now the ghetto queen of America. He's an arrogant and uppity, little chump. He is little more than a pmp daddy who NEEDS to be sent packing.|||Oh about the same way I feel about his AG Holder calling me a coward. I wish both would expire from massive coronaries, sooner than later.|||I am always amazed at the Right wingnuts selective hearing. The US has been VERY arrogant under GW Bush. Note the lack of international support we've found for our initiatives in the past 8 years. Obama also pointed out where Europeans and others were shirking their responsibilities in the world.|||You are right and Nobama was wrong, once again.

END OF STORY!|||A lot of people here and abroad needed a reality check. The US drove away our friends with 8 years of cowboy diplomacy. Time to reject that in favor of a more inclusive strategy that recognizes others ability to help and their responsibility.|||This is old news already. It is true what he says.|||Unfortunately he is right. Our politicians are arrogant.

Even though, the majority of the population of the US are just trying to live there own lives, pay bills, feed there family, enjoy a vacation, our politicians supposedly represent the People of the US. They act arrogant, therefore the US must be arrogant as a whole.

Is this how you want to be representated. (Both Parties, this is not one parties responsibility)

Or how about this, is this how you want your elected leader to talk about his own country? (remember he represents us as a whole).|||I think it falls right in line with everything he has been saying and doing.|||He's right, and it's important that you realize this. Yes, America has done much good in the world, but it's also done quite a lot of bad. Can't you please just acknowledge this? The real patriots are the ones who sometimes question what their country is doing. This knee-jerk, unthinking patriotism exhibited by many Americans does real damage to our image abroad, as I know through extensive travelling.

Invading Iraq was a deeply arrogant act. Neither Bush, Cheney or Rumsfeld made any effort to understand this complex country or its society, with the result that they got a nasty shock when it erupted into a state of near-civil war. They were so arrogant that they even put a 24-year-old guy in charge of the Baghdad Stock Exchange, with predictable results. He was appointed because his family were generous donors to the GOP.

Another example of arrogance and double standards. We hear a lot of propaganda about wars on terror but forget that we played a part in forcing the British to surrender to the IRA. Wonder how we'd like that if someone made us open dialogue with al-Qaida?

We have also treat Latin America like our own backyard on many an occasion.

So I'm afraid that, while we have donated generously to the world - in terms of aid and in defences of liberty - the States and its people have been arrogant and ignorant on occasions.|||I think you underestimate the damage to the American "brand" that has been done through the george w years. It's time to stop navel-gazing (again, you guys do it periodically, and then go back to navel-gazing). If you had a map of your backside, you couln't find your @rsehole :-)|||If he's so sure we are arrogant , why would he want to be President ?Reading some these answers from the truly arrogant %26amp; wrong , who don't mind being miss led or undercut by Treasonous b 's that voted for them , I'd like to say he's right but I can't do that because some are just stupid not arrogant! To put a derogatory label on 350M people to kiss up to rest of hierarchy is just plain crap /tarp/crap/trap.|||Ooohhh...just peachy.|||I also found Obama's remarks disgusting however if anybody would know about arrogance........it would be Obama.|||I think he's referring to himself mostly. In his own dimensia he truly believes he speaks for and about the American people and in reality doesn't even know who we are. The man obviously has know real grasp of reality or the rich history and values "Real Americans" hold dear.

Sadly the Obama's are from some alternate universe where they believe they are truly some sort of monarchy in a country that holds democracy in a republic as reality. He still hasn't figured out that he was only voted in because people were voting against the Republican party (Bush). He lives up mostly to his Comic Book Hero persona. Seriously, what other president has has a line of comic books designed about them where they fight injustice with the likes of Spider-man? This is typical of his whole career, he's a larger than life comic strip of a president.................

And does anybody else besides me think that his bowing to the Saudi king wasn't a gaff?|||I'd like to get him alone in a windowless room for just 5 minutes.|||Calm down. He was only describing Bush, not US.|||Classic liberal kissing the French's @zz.|||The rich privileged class speaks for themselves. They do not speak for me.|||Obama: the Politically Correct Internationalist Global Citizen is kissing up to all the world leaders. Is this where you want the President of the United States to be? Should the President of the United States even be there? We are America! We are different. We are not just another world country that’s going to blend in with the rest - we are a land of entrepreneurs and freedom fighters - we are Americans.

Will you allow Obama to throw out the American way of life? Will you allow this nobody to trash the American Constitution that was crafted by some of the greatest men in American history? Are you going to allow some world “board of directors” to make decisions for America? For you? For your kids? This is America - the home of the free and the home of the brave - we must fight to keep our country. What comes around goes around - we fought the American Revolution once - after 200 years it may be time to fight the American Revolution AGAIN. Our great founding fathers fought once to free us from a King’s Dictatorship - it is now time again. o_O|||We are, especially white America. This country was built upon the arrogance of whites and they export it all over the world.

Why do think whites are the prefered targets of terrorists? The arrogance of white America is how we are all judged around the world. Greatness includes admitting ones faults as well as strengths. You can repair broken aliances with yet more arrogance.|||How is he selling us out. He is only stating the facts. We go about our lives oblivious to the rest of the world and you are disgusted? Come on.

Oh, and we are also a nation of spoiled brats that can't take the truth....What we all need to do is Grow Up.|||You stupid white *****. Go suck a dirty cock.
