The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paloni. Book 4?

I have read Eragon, Eldest, and Brisinger multiple times and am currently reading Darkest Powers by Kelly Armstrong.

Have there been any announcements, hints, pages, etc from book 4? Or even a title, cover, or release date? It has been 4-5 years(I believe) so what happened? The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paloni. Book 4?
i don't think there has been anything at all, and there is certainly no title, cover, or even a hint of a release date.

pretty much the only thing i've heard is "book four coming soon!" from the author--except, i've heard that maybe four times over like 3 years.

quite honestly, i have no idea what's taking so long. if the series really had to be split into four books because the third book was "too long", that should imply that the fourth book was pretty much done; just the second half of book three that cut out. paolini needs to hurry up before people move on because they waited forever--if jk rowling had taken this much time between the 6th and final book, her editor would probably have killed her. there was only a year or two between the HPs and she was still in trouble for missing deadlines. The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paloni. Book 4?
Its been a long time but its not been that long the last book Brisinger came out September 2008, so 2 years ago. There has been no release date, title or cover released however we do know that the cover will feature a green dragon.

In the paper back copy of Brisigner there is a chapter from book 4 called King Cats. One of the chapters in the book 4 is entitled "Brains" (there is no sneak look at this chapter) The author has said some other things like at some point Eragon is hung up in some dungeon (not Galbtorix dungeon) via manacles. There will be more battles in the last book then the first three books combined.

The author also made mentioned that he has added some things in that he didn鈥檛 have in his original outline so that could explain why its taking longer. That said some books just take longer to write. There is this one series and that author has taken 5 years between books.

In the HP books the longest waited one was OOTP (2003), which came out three years after GOF (2000)
