Now other people who want position and who want to work with the Obama Administration can argue that they should be considered even though they are or were lobbyist.
Do you think that Obama shouldn't of set such tight, inflexible rules concerning lobbyist and maybe should of allowed for a little flexibility?Did Obama set an unwelcome precedent by giving a lobbyist an exemption to his own rule?I think it was just to prove a point...to kick "the man aka big business" in the a-s-s and let people know he isnt playing. He may believe ina little flexability but doesnt want everyone to think he will bend the rules
i know racists are going to give me thumbs down but I voted for Obama...and I am a conservative
lobbyists have had 100 percent control of our country for yearsDid Obama set an unwelcome precedent by giving a lobbyist an exemption to his own rule?
Yep....
that is why is sooo dumb...
He is an idealistic man....who accuses others of a practice and then changes it because of the reality.Did Obama set an unwelcome precedent by giving a lobbyist an exemption to his own rule? You haven't yet figured out that anything said prior to Jan 20th is subject to a complete reversal.
I think it makes him look like a fool.
AND Obama got all pissed off when he was questioned about it by the press.Did Obama set an unwelcome precedent by giving a lobbyist an exemption to his own rule?a case of do what i say, not what i do. just like the bailout, they will be lining up and asking, why not me. another flub by the pres.Did Obama set an unwelcome precedent by giving a lobbyist an exemption to his own rule?
I believe that this was a major SNAFU but not catastrophic.
It is his rule and none of them , if they leave, can lobby the administration.
Bush's white house was a wall of lobbyist!
Obama has a right to waver requirements, however, you must remember these people were selected BEFORE he made the rules!Did Obama set an unwelcome precedent by giving a lobbyist an exemption to his own rule?
