What constellations that are visible this time of year?

I have an astronomy assignment and i want to know what constellations are visible tonight and i don't know if it has anything to do with my location. I stay in Dallas Tx.

.

Choose four constellations that are your favorite and write a brief summary of their "History and Mythology. Draw a diagram showing their location. List the date, time and location of your viewing. Label each celestial object on your drawing

This is the assignment any help would be appreciated thanks. What constellations that are visible this time of year?Go to www.heavens-above.com and input your location and a time when it is dark. You will see a full sky map of constellations.

www.skyandtelescope.com has the same display. Another is www.calsky.orgWhat constellations that are visible this time of year?
operative word: VIEWING. get off the computer, go outside, and have a look. otherwise you're completely missing the point of your assignment, and any "work" you do on it is worthless.

at your latitude you can see all the classical constellations, though a couple (e.g. centaurus, lupus) only partially clear the horizon. What constellations that are visible this time of year?Heaps of them.

From Texas there, you should be able to see:

Cassiopia,
Andromeda
Both Ursas
Cephus
Draco
Cygnus
Hercules
Bootes
Delphinus
Lyra
Corona B.
Aquila
Ophiuchus
Both Serpensseses
Sagittarius
Scorpius
and Libra

at least...
If I was doing a pick 4 from that list:
Scorpius, Andromeda, Hercules, Ursa Major (the big dipper)What constellations that are visible this time of year?
Scorpio. Sagittarius. Orphiucus, Aquila, Cygnus, Ursa minor, Ursa Major, Bootes, Cassiopeia, Pegasus, Andromeda, Virgo, Libra, Lyra

You'll need dark skies to be able to see Lyra, althought Vega (Alpaha Lyra) is one of the brightest summer stars, and Libra. What constellations that are visible this time of year?Lyra, Cygnus, Aquila, Ursa Major...
