What percent of Obama voters voted for him because they actually liked his policies?

I know some people who voted for Obama because they really agreed with all his policies, and even though I would have voted for McCain I am still fine with people who voted for Obama as long as they had real reasons. How many of Obama voters didn't vote for him for real reasons, like based just on race or the fact that he can say the word "change" 30 million times? What percent of Obama voters voted for him because they actually liked his policies?Well the basis upon people at my school and their family members voting for Obama was soley because the fact he was black as they said and he would bring "change"... When I asked them can you support your liking of him by the support of any of his views none of them could come up with an answer... Most peoeple that voted for Obama were uninformed of his views.....and to some fellow answerers of this question McCain had more ethical and intelligent views... Obamas view on healthcare is called socialized medicine... He wants to get rid of the right for Americans to bear arms..against our Constitutional rights much... I could keep going ... Just be informed next time cuz everyone sure as hell wasn't this time.. What percent of Obama voters voted for him because they actually liked his policies?
All of them. Isn't that what we vote on?What percent of Obama voters voted for him because they actually liked his policies?I voted for him for his ideology and his policies, being opposed to the Iraq War, accessible health care for all, alternative energy infrastructure, etc.
I researched Obama's and McCain's policies thoroughly for months before I voted Obama. I can only speak for myself, though. What percent of Obama voters voted for him because they actually liked his policies?Good question,i think over half the people who voted for him had no idea what his policies were, but then hell he really didn't have any...just CHANGEWhat percent of Obama voters voted for him because they actually liked his policies?
Obama ran on the issues. The economy, the war, the economy, the economy.... McCain ran a negative campaign. He wanted to scare people into voting for him. It didn't work.
liberals voted to be in power, blacks voted for race, mexican voted in the premise that they will be legalized

truth hurts doesn't it?What percent of Obama voters voted for him because they actually liked his policies?
Most of the young voters probably just voted out of his popularity--not his policies. The "Bandwagon" effect. Young people are so gullible.
With Bush being President the last 8 years, how could it NOT be about policies?

No one wanted Bush 3 (McCain) in the WH.
All the people I know that voted for Obama voted for him because of his policies, and not because of his race. I voted for him because he'll get us out of Iraq, and end the Bush tax cuts. Those were his two biggest selling points to me.
I didn't vote for him and I don't know where you could find statistics on this.

I think a lot of people voted the party line, for just one issue, or for "change"
The jury is still out on that question but they are working on coming up with the answer.
less than half...roughly the same percentage that actually KNEW any of his policies
I don't think many people looked at his voting record, which is the only thing you can trust about any politician. Many people voted for the "cool black guy". Never cared for Blacks myself.
I know I voted for him because of his policies (and voted against the Republicans for their policies!)

And I suspect many other people did as well. It's more likely that there were people who DIDN'T vote for him because they didn't like him because of his race.

I'll Keep My Guns, Freedom and Money... You Can Keep "The Change"
What does it matter? Obama's in now.

You act as if all McCain voters voted based on policy.

I voted for Obama because I only vote Democrat and because he's much better than McCain. I am glad he won and I look forward to his presidency.
