What star constellations are visible in Hertfordshire, England in May?

I am due to get married in May and we would like to name the tables after star constellations that are visible in May. We are based near St Albans in Hertfordshire.

The constellations in the upper (north side) of the chart are visible all year round. The ones at the bottom (southern sky) vary as the year progresses.





If you want your guests to be able to find their 'table' in the sky, you may find it easier to name the tables after bright stars instead, since they will be easier to spot in the bright summer (or light polluted) night sky.

(Assuming the British weather cooperates of course!)



Smart phones such as iphone or androids have an excellent sky map applications that you can also use to find stuff in the sky.
