How are Galaxies and Constellations alike and different?

For homework i need to compare and contrast Galaxies and Constellations. Can u please help me? If u have a website that says EXACTLY what I'm asking, then please give it to me. (but don't say google) thank you and please answer!! =)How are Galaxies and Constellations alike and different?A constellation is something which actually does not exist. It's a virtual thing. It's just something we humans see in the random apparent arrangement of planets, stars and galaxies in the sky.

Whereas a galaxy is very real, it is a usually disc-shaped collection of tens of billions or even a trillion stars. How are Galaxies and Constellations alike and different?a galaxy is group of stars amongst other matter and a constellation is just man interpretation of a few random stars in his sight. They are so different their only similarity would be stars. A constellation is an idea, it's not real and from any other perspective does not exists. Astrology is such BS. I suggest you find out what they are first then compare them for your self. Sometimes it's not the answers to your questions that enlighten you but the path you take to find them. How are Galaxies and Constellations alike and different?A constellation is an apparent cluster of stars (that is, they look close together to us easily-deceived sods on earth), while a galaxy is a real cluster of stars, i.e., a bunch of stars that actually are (in astronomical terms) close together.
