Two years, actually. Brisingr came out in September of 2008.
Personally, I doubt he ever well. I think he dug himself into a hole he realized he won't be able to climb out of. My guess is he'll fake his own death and move to Antarctica.Is Christopher Paolini ever going to come out with Eragon book 4?
